It is no longer possible to link to a query on Special:Ask without manually modifying URL parameters.

Steps to reproduce:

 • Go to https://www.semantic-mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Ask
 • Enter [[News date::!29 July 2019]] OR [[News date::!11 April 2019]] as query
 • Find results
 • Click "copy link to clipboard" icon
 • Go to copied URL
 • Click "edit query" icon
 • Behold your new query: [[News date::!29 July 2019]] OR [[News date::!11 April 2019]]

For me this is not a show stopper for SMW 3.1.0 We could still back-port fixes for a SMW 3.1.1 release.

I have no idea when this regression happened so also do not consider it a blocker.

I'd avoid assigning milestones to issues unless you personally commit to solving the issue. Else they are mostly noise. And the personal commitment might also not be a good idea, since cookie-licking is not so cool.

For me this does not matter however I figured that moving milestones is better than adding them 2 minutes prior to release due to late notice of a bug or so. In the end I indeed now leave it to the devs here.

In my mind milestones are a tool to figure out what to work on. Not one to figure out what was done in a given release. That's what we have release notes for.

Exactly. ;)
