Scrollmagic: Has this project been abandoned?

Looking at the open issues list and most recent updates to the codebase, it looks like this project has been abandoned, is that the case?

Given that ScrollMagic has historically been very popular and there is a lack of suitable alternatives (that I am aware of) I think it would be pertinent for the readme to be updated to reflect the current state.

According to another user, Jan is still maintaining the project. See Issue 754.

I think Jan, should definitely pick some developers to help maintain.

The last release was April 2016. You can safely assume it is dead at this point.
