Scrollmagic: Is ScrollMagic still being developed?

Created on 15 Dec 2017  路  4Comments  路  Source: janpaepke/ScrollMagic

I'm evaluating this library and others but am slightly concerned by:

  • Latest commit to master was April 2016.
  • Current Travis build is failing.
  • >300 open issues (less concerned about this as I'm sure many are support requests).

Can you confirm if ScrollMagic is still being developed? If not can you recommend an alternative? Thanks!

I have received a response from Jan and this project is still active. He has not had time work work on it however, but is looking to get back into it. I don't want to speak for him, but I know he might need help to continue development without compromising quality (we all have a day job, so committing 100% of himself to this is probably out of the question).

Thanks for the update :)

@danbohea As someone that was considering using this lib with GSAP 2 and React. Would you mind listing some of the alternatives you found as I'd like to look at alternatives for myself as well? tia.

Hey @leomeloxp , I just looked but the list of projects evaluated is no longer available, sorry! I can confirm that I did end up using gsap & scrollmagic though.
