Add multi area's outlines, great for wilderness and DMM
This might be a little overpowered for those not using our client. Then again, it will surely attract PvPers to our client, and I think exilent has this already so...
If others aren't against it, I think it will be a nice feature to have for sure
IF this gets added im sold!
i spoke to Winnetou, dev on exilent and asked him for his file for the multi borders. If a dev over at runelite could add this then it would be great. It's a feature that shows the multi lines in the wilderness (proof of source https://i.imgur.com/JGpgVvh.png)

I'm currently working on this. Just letting people know so we both don't work on the same thing.
@WooxSolo Status on this mate?
I've got it working mostly but need to fix handling for how lines are shown on different floors. I've not had much time to work on it in the past month but plan on finishing it eventually.
Do you think it'll be done before DMM tourny in Sept/Oct? Our clan would
appreciate it (#COLD). I can also help out too if you let me know what
features/tasks I should implement for you.
I also remember back in the day there being the option in the API to simply
highlight a tile instead of drawing a line. Could this be a possibility? I
used it in Dungeoneering when highlighting the most optimal paths towards a
door using A* search.

@WooxSolo good to hear you are working on my suggestion, I thank you for it. Also, if you wouldn't mind checking my other request as well ( https://github.com/runelite/runelite/issues/1765 ) after finishing this I'd really appreciate it.
@Popedigoz That is something I've wanted to do as well, but I want to finish the other stuff I'm working on first
FYI I attempted doing this to try learn RuneLite development some month ago: https://github.com/mattec92/runelite/pull/1

Waiting for Woox to drop the "correct" solution ;)
Any updates? @WooxSolo @mattec92
No sorry, I haven't looked more at it since last time. I want to finish it at some point though
might tackle this one, exilent file not working though
Since this feature won't be added, shouldn't this issue be closed and marked as wontfix to avoid confusion?

But it will be, WTF? Who said it wouldn't be?
Any updates for this?
Hey guys if you're in the same boat as me - curious as to see what happened with this - Woox said that he felt the community didn't want it so he stopped working on it.
Just a heads up incase anyone was wondering like I was.

Okay, but this is not dependable on Woox only? Someone else can make this then.
And to @WooxSolo, there are a lot of people still wanting this, if the "community's" only problem is RuneLite users get an advantage over on non-RuneLite users - their opinion is invalid as you could already use tile markers to mark the multi area borders of the whole Gielenior map with those tiles...
@popedigoz i’ve tried marking every multi line in game for dmmt preperation but for some reason after you have set a number of tiles, some tiles start disappearing. So that does not fully work.
There has been another discussion about it over at https://github.com/runelite/runelite/pull/6097 which you guys might be interested in. Code has already been written, but at the moment it seems unlikely that it'll be merged.
