Rocket.chat: [Bug] "Set as Owner" option does not exists
Description:
If I leave a channel, and I am the last user, I get the following message
You are the last owner. Please set new owner before leaving the room.
But, I cannot find any option to set the owner of a channel. Wrt. #6607. there should be somewhere such option.
I installed version 0.58.4 via docker.

As per the below documentation at https://docs.rocket.chat/user-guides/,
Every channel has an owner, and the owner of a channel cannot leave a channel until setting someone else as the owner of that channel. You can do it via right side panel (Flex tab) and “Member list”.
Looks like, it is not an issue. In your case, you are the owner (I guess) and you have no user left in channel to designate as owner and exit. So, no option shown.

I invesitgated on that issue.
I can click on "Member list" in the side channel, and if I click on an existing user (when I am not the last one), I do not get the options to set the owner, I get directly forwarded to the private chat with the user.

To get the options, I have to change the options as follows:
Administration -> Settings -> Layout -> User Interface -> Click to create direct message -> FALSE

@ggazzo what can I do if I have the same issue as described, but I am not an admin, therefore I cannot change this option?

we do have many ways to set new owners... if you want to leave a room and you are the last user and owner... delete the room :v:

@ggazzo Yes, and if you try that, you get a message saying that you cannot delete it because you are the last owner in the room.
