Rocket.chat: Admins Do Not Get Email Verification Prompt

Your Rocket.Chat version: 0.23.0

I set email verification to True. And asked some users to log out and log in. Regular users get an email verification prompt after attempting to log in. Admins do not get the email verification prompt. I would like all users to get email notifications when they are not logged in but there seems to be no way to verify admin email addresses.

I am currently using this work around:

1. Remove admin status from user
2. User logs out and then back in (gets email verification prompt)
3. Add user back to admin list

I guess what you're describing is a feature, not a bug. If admins would be required to verify their email address before logging in, and there would be only one admin, nobody would be able to log in anymore.

Furthermore, I guess you do need to "trust" your admins a bit more and limit the number of people you make admin.

That said, I'm not a developer for this project, just an enthusiast.

The problem I am having is that admins dont get email notifications when a new message is sent to them because their email address is not verified. Maybe a solution would be have a way to click "verify my email" somewhere in the settings?

Hum... I see the problem. What @kramer65 has described was the problem behind making admin skip the verification process, but now we only send emails to verified users.

Maybe we have to make them ABLE to login without verification, but still prompting them to verify.
