Is there any plan to release a new version soon?
What about having at least RC release on npm?
The thing is, the only way I've found to use some not yet release features of this lib is to local clone it, build it and use it. It would be very handy to have at least RC versions on npm...
Looking forward for a new release as well

Same here. Is there any update on this progress?
Same case here
Please! Need a release!
Yes please! It's been a year & there are unreleased fixes I'd love to get.
I've forked the project and applied the toolbar fix to it. If anyone is interested here is the fork: https://github.com/cravoley/react-native-vector-icons/tree/toolbarfix
It would be great if a new release could be made!
So I think this can be closed... But unfortunately the new version is broken. Would have been better to put out a beta version rather than a broken full release...
@deggertsen How is it broken? There were some intentional breaking changes introduced, but aside from them?
I was just referring to missing icons #1194 (perhaps the names just changed)? And I have noticed a lot of reported issues in the queue. Perhaps it's not broken for some, but when we tried to upgrade it also caused our app to fail to compile on mobile even though web still compiled. I haven't had a chance to look into it more thoroughly so these issues might just be because of other package updates along with this one. For the time being I reverted back until I have more time to troubleshoot and figure out exactly what the issues that caused the app to not compile are.
I assume you are using Ionicons that was upgraded and part of the breaking changes? I'm happy to revert that one, but then it'll be another breaking change.
Now that Expo supports bare bones by default you should just move to that, use https://github.com/expo/vector-icons, and be done with this.
@oblador Lets just close this issue and if anything else needs to happen we can open another issue for it. Thanks so much for getting a release out!
