React-native-share: Sharing overlays current app without being able to return (Android)

When sharing on Android and choosing Gmail or Messages (or any other app), these apps will replace your app without being able to return to it. I tried the example app which has the same problem:

Sorry for the silly question. Using the back button works fine. Being an iOS user this is a bit unintuitive for me and I should have done some more research on this :)
