React-native-calendars: Programatically reset month?

Is there a way to programatically reset the calendar back to default month(current month)?

I would just change the currentDate to todays date...

This only reset the calendar if you are in the same month as the selected date.
I couldnt find a way to reset it to today date if you are in other months.
