Hi. Could anyone explain to me how this library is different from a paid alternative https://github.com/transistorsoft/react-native-background-geolocation?

For one, it doesn't seem to require a license

the paid version allows you more detailed features, nothing that you couldn't do by hand and this plugin, if that saves you time it could be your path
