Qksms: MMS - recipient receives gray square

DESCRIPTION

When sending picture as MMS everything look fine in my end, but recipient just get a gray square.

STEPS

1. Attach picture
2. Send

EXPECTED

Recipient receives MMS with the picture.

OBSERVATIONS

Recipient receives gray square

If you send an MMS to yourself, do you also see this grey square?

No, it works fine if I send to myself.

I just realized, that both recipients where I have identified this problem are using Huawei devices. I just tried sending to a Samsung device.
This worked.
I don't know how that makes a difference, but when I send MMS from the Android Messages app(the one google makes) to the Huawei recipients it works.

I have not seen this problem with the Samsung and LG devices that I have.
