The latest update seems to break something in pulseeffects. Yesterday I ran a full upgrade (AUR included) and just today I noticed that pulseeffects wouldn't open. By the way, I don't think the problem is related to gtk since I have been using pulseeffects for >6 months with no problems.
This is what I get when I run pulseeffects in a terminal:
$PULSEEFFECTS_DEBUG=1 pulseeffects

Segmentation fault (core dumped)
dmesg output when trying to open pulseeffects 3 times:
