Prestashop: PS 1.7.6.1 Bank Wire account detail not sent in email

The email customer receive has empty field for bank account details:

Try to manual edit the mails template to avoid this error:

bankwire.txt

in both EN and IT folder:

Removed the variable placeholder and insert the account information in html:

Same for TXT

Result:

So how its possible that after a change in html and txt template still get the variable placeholder error in email .?!

I have the same problem on 1.7.6.2

Matteo check the mails folder in your theme. you have to replace it there or have to regenerate the emails through the prestashop backend.

I've solved creating a new template and assign it to order state.. BTW it is absurd to always have to find workarounds to solve bugs or shortcomings of prestashop.

ISSUE on missed bank information in template is not solved yet, i've override the template email for every language but its a painjob

I did not manage to reproduce the issue with PS1.7.5.2 & PS1.7.6.2.


I have only this issue: https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/issues/13386, it is reproduced only when Email address in uppercase.
Which fixed in the next version PS1.7.7.0

I have to try. I tried to put our details hardcoded in the email template folder. but regenerating the email templates generated emails with the placeholder. Because we have another issue, with the logo being gigantic in outlook only.

Does this issue occur only with outlook?

We have the problem only on outlook. Thunderbird or Webbased Mail are ok.
Our version is 2.0.4.

But it seems more of a problem when generating emails. They are not generated correctly...

no the problem with the bank details is on every computer.
The problem with the gigantic logo is just on outlook desktop. Sorry for mixing up things. The problem with the logo was the reason why I tried to regenerate the templates in prestashop, but the details I put into the templates aren't copied to the final mail

tested with this fix - 17073

First order from FO: - works (bankwire_owner, .... is correctly fillet)
but
from BO: resend email - waiting for bank wire payment - does not work (bankwire_owner, .... is only {bankwire_owner})

• both eshops are upgraded from 1.7.4.2 to 1.7.6.2.
• customers use Czech language
• BO language is Czech

We have fixed by edit Mail.php like described in #18541
i'm not the only one that have this problem as you can see in the thread, maybe it appears when you change bank details or upgrade prestashop, i don't know exactly, i've done this two things and the error comes up again

The error is also present in ps 1.7.6.8, naturally the upgrade brokes the manual fix (workaround)
