@mfrauenhoffer
Please give us your monitor setup. Maybe it has to do with the position of the monitors.
@Dargoz and @mfrauenhoffer, to narrow down the cause of this and to be sure that this is a multi-monitor issue, can you please test if PT Run works as expected with only one monitor? It works fine with multiple monitors for me (even tested it with the above display configuration), so it would be great if you could help us identify the root cause of this.
Interestingly enough, turning off Run and turning it back on has resolved the issue.
Monitor 1 is disconnected via the OS.
When I first installed PowerToys, I changed it to Run as Administrator. I did not try PT Run before that, but given that it's running as Administrator and then I had to turn it off and back on again, could there have been a problem with key mapping?

Thank you for that. Yes, I can reproduce it.
Steps to repro -
@mfrauenhoffer @alekhyareddy28 After disabled and re-enabled it again in the administrator mode it's work! Thank you for your support 馃槉, I hope there will be improvement for this.

Steps to repro -
- Have PT Run enabled in PowerToys
- Restart PowerToys as admin from the general settings
- Try to press Alt+Space, nothing happens.
- Once I disable and enable PT Run it works as expected.
I've tried to recreate this, to resolve the issue. But it's a no from me.
I'm on 0.19.1, even tried disconnecting monitor 1 (laptop screen) via OS.

I am not having multi-monitor setup, just my laptop screen. When PT is running elevated, PT run open fine on non-elevated applications, but when the focus is on an elevated application then the PT run does not open.
I'm also facing this issue - PT Run does not work when an elevated app is focused
Does this still happen with 0.25? I can't repro this on latest. We've done a lot of improvements here in the last two releases
