Powertoys: Allow keyboard control for FancyZones win+` dialog window

Created on 17 May 2020  路  4Comments  路  Source: microsoft/PowerToys

You can press win-` to pick the layout that applies to the screen. That's great. Sadly, once the dialog shows, you need to use mouse to pick the layout. Can you please add support for cursor keys so you don't need to switch away from the keyboard?

Thanks!

Probably, although this requires sacrificing more than one unique global shortcuts to powerzones. win-` brings up a dialog, so you can just support cursor keys there and avoid having to find yet another free keybinding :)

would hot keys for just hot swapping work?

Yes, this!! I have a few different layouts that I switch between depending on my current task and having to move away from the keyboard after pulling up the dialog window is a real pain.

This is an accessibility issue as well.
