Powertoys: I can't delete PowerToys or Uninstall it

which version of PowerToys are your using? 0.15.1? MSI or MISX?
Did you have a previous version installed?
How are you trying to uninstall it? Running the MSI again and selecting Remove? Using the Windows 10 Settings -> Apps or using the legacy Control Panel?

I am so sorry to tell ,that I have install the 0.15 version .msi
I just fix the problem , but still , it won't properly delete from windows
program , then I just download from reddit the latest version and reinstall
it ,and then remove it
but there is a problem noted , I just choose to ignore it

2.) why are you downloading the file off Reddit instead of Github? highly suggest only get files from official sources

Go to control panel, instead of uninstall select change, then click in the option to remove. That works for me

I had installed PowerToys-0.18.1-x64 (via MSI installer). It had the same problem while uninstalling from control panel. I was able to delete it by going to the setup file and then selecting the remove button. The setup file that is available on Microsoft website should do the trick. For some reason control panel or settings app will fail you. This is a preview version so hopefully they will rectify it.

Old control panel won’t do it. We are looking into fixing this. Being tracked in #2012 now we know how people get to the old panel.
