Would it be possible to implement a "slider" functionality to resize windows from their default zones? Tthe point being that all affected windows are resized at the same time. This would be similar to the built in functionality of the regular windows snap, where you can resize both windows at the same time by dragging the slider that appears between the windows (holds at least for the layout when you have two vertical spaces). In Fancyzones, it seems on only resizes one of the windows at a time when one resizes.
Please let me know if this was not properly explained.
+1. It'd be great to have the flexibility to quickly adjust the distribution of one or more windows by resizing their shared boundaries (whether edge or corner).
Just to verify i understand this
Scenario:
Action flow:
Result: I resize all 10 windows snapped in that zone
Yes, that is correct. It would obviously apply if you only have 2 windows,
and drag along the border (not the corner). Makes sense?

well)- move mouse to resize windows

I believe this animation on the AquaSnap Window Manager website captures both cases here (one or more shared application borders):

Yes, I totally agree. Is this doable?

@hmyraune so you want more in terms of the aqua style manager, not what i said. Or do you want both?
they are totally different requests which is why determining the scenario is critical :)
I’m sorry, but I am not sure I caught the difference. What I am thinking is if I have set up 2-3 custom zones, with 1 window each. Then I want to be able to resize two (or more depending on layout) zones simultaneously. In my mind, this is the same functionality as is built in with the Windows default zones. And I think it looks like the aqua style manager.
Do you agree?

Mine was you have like 10 in the same zone and we resize all 10. The gif shows resizing two windows along the same shared border.
Ok, then it should be the latter (as the gif shows).
At least that is my two cents and request.

Yes, please consider to implement the resizing feature as the gif shows. It will make lots of people who use monitors in a portrait mode happy (as vertical snap is not supported by stock Aero snap)
Aero snap kinda does this now but yeah, this would be cool. Not something for v1 that is in scope however. Neat idea
My use case: My development setup is 3/4 of the screen is an IDE and the remainder is a terminal. I often need to stretch the terminal to deal with line-wrap but don't want to cover my IDE.
This feature gets a thumbs up from me.
+1 For me, this and Snap Assist are two of the most essential features of Windows Snap. Would be great to have them in FancyZones
