In custom layouts, when editing a layout, adding a couple splitters or moving them, the changes appear to be saved, even when pressing cancel.
When switching to the Templates-tab and going back to Custom again, it will even go so far as to update the preview-icon.
However when one leaves the "choose your layout"-menu and opens it again later, the changes will indeed not have been saved.
But a user would not know this and might be very frustrated and confused, till he notices this.
Pretending to destroy someone's carefully hand-crafted layout is almost as bad as actually doing it.
Please don't.
I have a fix but it needs a bit more testing
@ivan100sic, you said needed a bit more testing, any update here?
After that I was doing other things, I'll move this up on my priority list. BTW in the meantime I found out that it still has some bugs.
Let's keep it open until we release 0.16.
The fix is now available in 0.16 https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/releases
