Hi @bpmckim
thank you for reporting the issue.

We need to verify if this is the same issue as https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/issues/209

I re-built with newest code and tested again this did not fix the issue. Thanks.

Hi @bpmckim
thank you for testing it.

What I notice is that when using moving remotedesktop app the image of the app is moved but the active region where you can interact with the app doesn't. I don't know how remote app works but it seems that there are two windows. One where the image is rendered and the other where the mouse events are handled. Both need to be moved.

Remote desktop windows cannot be adjusted to the frame

I'm having the same problem.. remote to another PC and even though I can setup zones on the remote PC these drop zones do not appear or work when I drag a remote windows on the remote desktop.

The window I Shift-drag does go transparent.. so it half-way works, just the blue drop zones dont appear and no snapping takes place.

Hi @wolispace
what you described seems to apply to a different issue https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/issues/1821 that is supposed to be fixed in 0.16.1, are you running 0.16.0 or 0.16.1?

Yes.. I was on the old version.. upgraded to 0.16.1 and its working fine. Thanks!

For what it's worth I installed PowerToys on the remote machine and configured it to match my local machine. It "works" in the sense that when it's a remote window the remote PowerToys manages it.

@enricogior
No, upgraded to 0.23 and I am still experiencing the same issue. Thanks.

@bpmckim
thanks for the feedback.
