One of my favourite power toys of the past was Image Resizer.
It was great to be able to give clients a tool in explorer to resize images as needed.
I can't remember what it could do but my _wishlist_ would be:
The old power toy could do this with a whole folder of images if needed.

Yes it was the most usefull powertoy

I was also an avid user of the Image Resizer. Very convenient tool to lower the resolution/size of a directory containing images/photos
Much needed Windows feature, given that this is supposedly an OS for 'creators' it should really be part of the OS, as should 'fancyzones'. This is just basic, rudimentary productivity, no power to it.
Would you want it to be like PowerRenamer where it is in the shell? select one or multiple photos?
Common scenario, images of different aspect ratios. You'd want the image to be distorted for "Resize to the specified size"?
Yeah the way PowerRenamer works is how I'd envisaged it.
"Resize to the specified size" would be more for single images or sets with identical dimensions or ratios. Maybe with a lock to ration option so it would auto-calculate the Y value based on the X etc....
Hello,
IMHO resize should change/lower the resolution of selected photos. Typical of a scenario where you want to publish photos on the web but do not want to upload pictures in full res due to bandwidth/constraints. So the aspect ratio of the photos is not changed in the process.
