After having installed and used Pinpoint for some days I have found the inconvenience of reviewing the WebLogic Log in order to solve some problems that have happened with applications that I have deployed in the Weblogic that I mentioned before. The problem arises from the fact that Pinpoint is writing information in the WebLogic Log, which makes it difficult to identify problems using the Log, on the other hand that information that the agent is writing in the WebLogic Log ... No it would be more convenient to remain written only in the Agent Log ... in my case I tried to prevent the agent from writing in the WebLogic Log through the Log4J XML configuration file but it has not turned out as expected. My question then is: How can I disable the writing in the WebLogic Log?
Hello, @ing-arriola
Actually, I know I shouldn't be the one who asks you about this. But Have you found out any solution to this issue?:)
Hi @RoySRose
I have found a solution to this problem but I am still validating that this does not cause problems, so the solution is not very elegant but apparently it is the form that gives me the solution I need. The solution involves modifying the xml configuration file for Log4J and that combined with a modification to the BootLogger class seems to be what I need. If you like, I can share in more detail what I have done.
:)
Hello, @ing-arriola
Well, it would be nice if you can share your solution when you have time. It would help anyone who is in the similar situation(I remember few cases) to get to know how you did it :)
Hi @RoySRose
Ok!!
I will gladly share the documentation that I have about it!
