Would PSX PBP's be possible to add since ePSXe and PCSX-R support them. They take up less space and combine multi disc into one file keeping the directory clean
You're going to have to link an explanation for it, we don't know what this is.
PBP is a Archive used for PSP EBOOTS not sure what else to tell you or what info you need
doesn't gzip work for you?
It's too early for it now but yes, it can be included some day. It would be very similar to other compressed / indexed formats that we already support. The support code for a new format is all there.
But yea, too early! ;)
Not to derail this, but PBP has lost favorability in Retroarch, at least, in favor of MAME's CHD files. They have a better compression ratio, can be batch compressed, and don't modify game content during the compression. The only downside is that you can't combine discs.
Edit: Anther advantage is that it could be used for both PSX and PS2 CDs.
+1 for PBP support!
