OpenJS World 2021 CFP is open - https://linuxfoundation.smapply.io/prog/openjs_world_2021_/
I think it's a good place to showcase the work and discussions that are happening in this WG - particularly in the areas where we're trying to encourage user/maintainer adoption.
This issue is just an FYI in case there was is any interest in coordinating some joint submissions - perhaps even submitting some panel discussions (4 panelists & 1 moderator)?
馃 I figure we'll probably have some wiby details and demos to show by then 馃
From the discussion in the WG meeting.
We should submit both a
1) panel - (4 panelists and 1 moderator) - Glen volunteered to be the moderator
Panel
2) talk - Darcy can put together a deck, (Darcy/Beth to submit)
May 2 submitters but everybody might be able to make a "cameo" since its pre-recorded.
@rodion-arr we were having a discussion about having a panel at OpenJS world. I volunteered to be the moderator. Would you be willing to be a panelist?
@BethGriggs I'm willing to help put together a presentation/deck for this for sure.
@ghinks thanks for proposal, very excited! This will be my very first experience in such kind of activities so I will hope for guidance and will try to do my best :)
I'm available in Slack in case it will be needed to communicate realtime.
Perhaps we could start drafting abstracts at the end of the minutes doc from https://github.com/nodejs/package-maintenance/issues/448? (Seems like an easy place to draft where we all have access)
@BethGriggs @darcyclarke Has anyone taken any action on this? Deadline is Monday... Let me know if you need a hand?
@darcyclarke and I have drafted a brief abstract for the talk. We can likely use a similar/adapted version for the panel.
I'll try to collate the emails of those earmarked for the panel to start a thread for the submission - as we'll need bios, etc. from everyone.
I have received the email sent by @BethGriggs with the draft from @darcyclarke and will make the submission as suggested.
The only thing I need is some sort of small bio from @dominykas . I have scoured the web but no bio seems to be available.
Thanks Glenn! Responded.
