Outline: Tool to batch import markdown files (with Notion initial support)

Created on 3 Feb 2020  路  3Comments  路  Source: outline/outline

We're using Notion at our company and some people from our team started using the paid version of Outline. We would like to migrate the entire team from Notion to Outline, however there's no tool to migrate every article that we have at Notion to your platform.

A tool like that would be very useful and will attract a lot of people. If you're willing to doing that soon, you'll have more ~24 users.

Desired features:

  • [ ] The tool should be able to import articles in Markdown format (.MD) that are inside a recursive directory, but with special treatment for the ZIP given by the Notion export tool.
  • [ ] Be able to traverse Notion exported folders and convert into beautiful collections at Outline
  • [ ] Import images and multimedia content
  • [ ] Import users and their relations with the articles created

Just another suggestion, thanks for your time!

I create a batch to import Confluence. I'm publishing it as open source.
