I'm still running the last Classic Explorer 4.3.0 and don't have this issue with a triple monitor setup. Did you use the original software at all before installing the newer Open-Shell version?

test this Artifacts

https://ci.appveyor.com/project/passionate-coder/open-shell-menu

  • [x] Test OpenShellSetup_4_4_139-gccfsqel.exe

because it's no more Classic what's be actual, it's Open Shell.

  • [x] and give feedback.

else
or if works now, close this issue

Hi dear friend, sorry for delay before answering, was in vacancy!
I tested this special build.
Always teh same problem:
Here is a video.

One click on second screen S-M button and menu opens and closes immediately (on second screen).
And sometimes, menu opens on first screen while clicking on second screen S-M button.

Never installed other version or alternative of the software on my pc which is brand new (Less than 2 month) Core I9 9900K

hmm.. do you programming or only a extended User like me ?
hmm.. which version is this 1901 or which ?
i hope @coddec and @ge0rdi looking on this video ..
nice done @Crazydoub :+1: maybe could they are do a patch for it :) *fingercrossing*

@Crazydoub
I can't replicate the issue on Win10 1903 x64 (two monitors). It works just fine for me.
What OS version do you have?

You should try to reset OpenShell settings to default (don't forget to back them up).
Eventually try different menu styles.

If that won't help, then enable logging, try to open menu (on both monitors) and post your log here along with your configuration.

I'm under Win10 x64 1903 too!
Already tried reset settings and use different styles.

Here is logging:
StartMenuLog.txt

Is it me or does it look like there's 2 different Start Menu software's being utilized?

@Crazydoub, My apologies for the delay as I've been a bit under the weather for the past few days...

The following Screenshot example is regarding the setting that should, hopefully, be the answer to what you need.

Start-Settings_Separate-Screen-Menu

Thanks for answer, unfortunately, it doesn't work!
Checked checkbox in windows 10 page...
Always the same issue :/

@Crazydoub
I have no clue why it doesn't work on your machine :(

Maybe try to provide dump from explorer so that I can check state of Open-Shell and if there is no conflicting software loaded.

To create dump, you can use this guide, just run procdump.exe -ma explorer.exe.
Upload the dump to some cloud service (Google Drive) and post link here.

Note that the dump file may contain sensitive information, so it's not ideal to share it publicly. But I don't know how to provide it in safe way :(

@ge0rdi, I remember quite a while ago (within another repository) regarding the question of sharing something Privately & Securely that's not available (that I'm aware of) within Github.

There were some options but, I was only able to locate 1 possibility that at the time. This was regarding a type of shared support emails to include one for submissions like this that someone can send this type of information to (with the submitted issue #/link within it).

Would this option be open to you, @coddec and @XenHat?

Finally found ho to reproduce issue....
I Use displayFusion!

can you maybe give a description who can reproduce this issue for the Developer to they are there Dual screens with displayFusion for check out why and what's goes on ?

Blacky

I just use display fusion 9.5 with Open-shell 4.4.131
DF creators advises the use Open shell with their software.
Sorry closed by error

DP 9.6.1 and Open-Shell 4.4.142 and the issue still presists.
Any updates on this?
