Office-js: sheets.addFromBase64 doesn't work in excel online

Hi! I like this feature in Excel Desktop, but when I try to use it in Excel Online, this feature does not work. Also Script Lab example does not achieve the result.

Thank you for reporting this issue. The addFromBase64 method is currently in preview, so you will currently need to be in Office Insiders to use it. Which version of Excel Online are you using?

I'm Office Insider. Excel Online build = 16.0.11421.31876

Thanks for providing that information. I've confirmed the sample gives a "NotImplemented" error when calling WorksheetCollection.addFromBase64 with the latest version as well.

I'll transfer this issue to the office-js repo so the product team is aware. They can give you an estimate for when there will be parity between desktop and online.

This is also of great interest to us. We've completed a proof of concept that depends on this capability, but it really doesn't help until its also available in Excel online. Any update when it might become available for Excel online?
