We've had several reports of people not being able to archive or snooze. When performing the action it immediately reverts. We have not captured an error stack trace on the client, and requests are coming back 200 from the server in most of the incidents.
From user reports:
It seems to be a problem applying the snooze label because other labels will also only remain for a second before vanishing. This seems to happen if a label is applied when a reply is being sent or has recently been sent. It then seems to get stuck and won't ever apply the label / archive / snooze.

I'm getting the same thing. This has been an issue for me for age (2months plus). Deleting almost always causes the email to immediately bounce back into the N1 inbox. Sometimes I have to attempt deletion 2 or 3 times before it works... then, when I have finally deleted it, i often find that the email (although now deleted from my N1 inbox) is still in my Outlook or Gmail inbox... i.e. it clearly hasn't propagated.
I added the same comment to #2706 as i 'think' they are the same issue for me... but cant be certain. Sorry for the duplicate comments.
A possible clue to this issue: Sometimes if I delete a thread via another mail client, N1 will update to show that the message is deleted, but the email will still be in the Inbox and have the "Inbox" tag attached. When viewed via the Gmail web interface, the message is definitely deleted. When viewed in the N1 inbox, it will show a header saying "One message in this thread is hidden because it was moved to trash or spam" (or the like). This is effectively the same behavior that occurs when a message is deleted in N1 itself and "bounces back." Possibly points to a Nylas sync problem rather than a failure to actually delete the thread.
Have a ghost email from 16th of June that I just can't seem to get rid of, no matter what action I take it immediately bounces back!
I have the same issue @mxstbr, there's an email from early August that just wont go away. All other emails can be interacted with normally.
EDIT: Possibly useful info. Whenever I select a bunch of emails along with the bouncing email and try to archive them, they all bounce.
I can give some 50 cents on this, I've this too sometimes...
It looks like an sync issue. Sometimes moving them in my webmail will work and after that Nylas will pick up as expected, not the way I want it, but it is a work around for the time being.
My best guess would be;
It happens if I sent out a reply and directly try to add labels(to move them out of my Inbox or snooze them) , then the tread becomes in this state of denying ;)
Because the reply still being sent out, not getting the label(because it is still queued) and adding the label to the existing and not all messages, after that you just add and remove at the same time on the whole tread(remove from others and adding to sent message) This will result in always showing up the whole tread in your Inbox.

Another occurrence of this came in via support today. @jstejada did the instrumentation make this easier to track down?
A potential workaround FYI: marking a thread that's acting up in this manner as unread and then as read again allows me to Archive properly afterwards.
