Nteract: Remote jupyter server with nteract desktop

Created on 13 Aug 2020  路  1Comment  路  Source: nteract/nteract

It would be awesome to be able to connect to a remote server using nteract. In my case, I usually run jupyter with docker, and I can't use nteract without a feature like that.

I know it has already been taking into account before but, unless I'm mistaken, it's only available for the web nteract version, and I can't find any recent update/plan on the feature so I don't know if it is still on the radar and, if that's the case, if there's some estimation for the release.

Thanks for the nice tool :)

This is actually something we are working towards with our introduction of the nteract web app. The idea is that we'll eventually unify the codebases of the nteract web and desktop app and the desktop app will support both remote and local kernels.
