A better translation has been discussed at https://github.com/notepad-plus-plus/notepad-plus-plus/pull/7935. so create a new translation related issue. thanks.

I think this is a very good phenomenon. I hope this will improve the quality of Korean translation.
I also appreciate the PR #7935 has helped make this issue.
Here are some good looking suggestions
For me, it sounds more clear.

I think it looks better than previous one.

Or, maybe "์ซ์ ์์ 0 ์ฑ์ฐ๊ธฐ" is better

I'm actually fine with this change, as they seem to be commonly transliterated.
For what it's worth, there are two possible transliterations "์๋" and "์๋์ฐ" (the former complies to the national standard, the latter is more colloquial). Historically Microsoft never transliterated Windows by themselves, presumably in order to not deal with this situation at all. As we are talking about what Korean speakers would feel comfortable, I would go with "์๋์ฐ".

Windows -> ์๋์ฐ, Unix -> ์ ๋์ค, Mac -> ๋งฅ

I'm afraid that most company recommended use as-is for brand name. Which is good for still as Windows, Unix, Mac.

I think MacOS, not Mac, is suitable to use the brand as it is. The brand name is usually used as it is, but I think it will be used in Korean.
May I summarize the contents of this issue and request a new PR?
I think it is a great chance to make improvements in korean.xml
Most of the changes in #7935 should not be changed because the words in changes can confuse the users who have been using so far. Moreover, some of changes are counter-intuitive; i.e. '๊ธ์ ' and '๋งต์'. This is apparently against UI-UX improvements. Hope this PR is not written in the stance of nationalism and linguistic conservatism. Gotta admit language can be changed and we cannot fight against the big wave of changes.

of course. Let's make a better translation together
Most of the changes in #7935 should not be changed because the words in changes can confuse the users who have been using so far. I also do not intend to reflect that PR. However, some of #7935 comments made the issue because I thought it was a waste to end the PR to close.

I agree. But some parts of #7935 (ex. "์(๋ฅผ)") sounds better.
Almost every change of #7935 is doesn't look good. But it doesn't mean every change of #7935 have to be fall on deaf ears.

How to change '๋งต์' to other terms?
The word is a term you don't know what it means. There seems to be a better term. The author is not sure what that feature means.We have already seen '๊ธ๊ผด' and '๋ชจ์' from Haan Word.
Oh sorry. my mistake
I suggest a more natural translation:

'๋ณ๊ฒฝํ์ง ์์ ๋ฌธ์๋ค ๋ซ๊ธฐ' -> '์ ์ฅ๋ ๋ฌธ์ ๋ซ๊ธฐ'
In visual studio code, uses the same translation.
All Korean translations have '~๋ก ํ์' on the encoding menu. So I want to exclude the encoding part.
Big endian and little endian names are next to the encodings, so I'd like to use them in English.
In english translation, using 'UCS-2 BE BOM', 'UCS-2 LE BOM'
I suggest unifying both big endian and little endian notions to BE and LE and aligning some parts with English translations.
'UCS-2 ๋น
์๋์ธ์ผ๋ก ํ์' -> 'UCS-2 BE'
'UCS-2 ๋ฆฌํ ์๋์ธ์ผ๋ก ํ์' -> 'UCS-2 LE'
'UTF-8๋ก ํ์' -> 'UTF-8 BOM'
'UTF-8 (BOM ์์)๋ก ํ์' -> 'UTF-8'
'UTF-8 (BOM ์์)๋ก ๋ณํ' -> 'UTF-8๋ก ๋ณํ'
'UTF-8๋ก ๋ณํ' -> UTF-8 BOM์ผ๋ก ๋ณํ'
If has a good suggestion, feel free to write it down.

In the Korean translation, Workspace is used interchangeably with '์์ ์์ญ' and '์ํฌ์คํ์ด์ค'. I think it's better to unify this.

That being said, while Unix is at least trademarked as "UNIX", I can't think of an example where "MAC" in all caps is used. One of the following: Macintosh (the computer, though I guess it'd be unfamiliar to Koreans), "macOS" (what it's now branded as), or even just "Mac"/"MacOS" as has previously been suggested, should be a suitable minor edit.

I actually (mildly) disagree.
Usually, when doing word/variable name matching, there is a _list_ of characters that, when in an uninterrupted string, are considered a single word. What this option does is adding user specified characters to that list. Considering the "don't choose" in parentheses, I'm thinking that the option was added there specifically for people who have this knowledge and are already aware of it.

Explaining what is CMD is not a bad idea. Also here window (์ฐฝ) and instance (์ธ์คํด์ค) is distinguished.
For other differences not mentioned here we can check the diff.
[1] https://uniblog.tistory.com/67I got it! I think that's a great idea too.
I'll try to get in touch with him.
I got an answer from him, and he said "๋ํ, ์ ์๋ฃ๋ ๋๊ตฌ๋ ๋ถ๋ด์์ด ์ฌ์ฉํ์ ๋ ๋๋ ์๋ฃ์์ ๋ง์๋๋ฆฝ๋๋ค.(Also, I would like to say that my data is for everyone to use without any burden.)"
From now on, I will continue to work on improving Korean translation by referring to the above valuable data. Is there someone to join me?

After reviewing the contents for a few days, I learned that no meaningful differences were found.
I think this issue should end here.
Thank you all for making a meaningful and good change.
Korean "๋๋์ด ๊ฒ์" short key should be changed to 'P' as English version.

I think you need to make a new PR to apply it in application.
Because, previous PR which include above idea is already closed.
@sokcuri Could you close this issue?
