Nodejs.dev: Switching bi-weekly meetings for Website redesign to weekly

Summary

During our web design redesign meeting(05/07/2020) we got a suggestion to make the meetings to weekly instead of biweekly.

Reasons for this suggestion are:

• Closing issues quicker
• Keep developers and contributors more engaged with the issues
• Tackle issues more effectively

While this is a good suggestion, we wanted to get more feedback from members on whether this is a good move as we have a pretty robust schedule in place for nodejs foundation as well as openjs foundation.
Rescheduling could mean clashing timings and days therefore this issue is raised

Works for me, the only issue is the time on the same week of commcomm meetings

This has been brought up in the OpenJS Cross Project Council and the Node.js Community Committee. This decision is fully up to the @nodejs/website-redesign team.

It sounds like it would be a good idea if the work/activity warrants it.

Since the usual time conflicts with the bi-weekly comm comm meeting, I would suggest the team considers another time to alternate with your currently scheduled meeting. I would also suggest that you consider timezones in planning the alternate meeting time. Pick one that is more friendly to timezones outside of US if possible. This could generate more involvement from others across the world.

Hi Everyone, I Took in Consideration Both OpenJs Calendar and Nodejs Calendar and removed the slots that are already in use.

I would like to encourage not relying on meetings for handling tasks that can be done async such as working on issues and PRs. Creating more meetings is in some ways non-inclusive to those who can't participate and makes it harder to get involved if all the work is happening in the meetings.

With that being said, I have not been super active in these meetings or the initiative beyond basic maintenance so feel free to ignore me if I am totally missing the point. Just my 2c as someone who has E_TOO_MANY_MEETINGS
