Hi mates please apologize me to open a bug for asking a question, I hope you don't argue me.
As I understood Apple Home pretend to have a device stable on the same LAN of devices to "bridge" them over the internet, is it correct? Opposite that, Google let devices to be connected on its cloud and operate from that side, so it's not needed to have a local bridge.
I'm planning to by an iPad just for that reason and it's not unexpensive, so I would like to be sure I'm doing the proper thing. Thank you a lot fo answers!
Hello! I'm not sure how anything google works but homekit things work over internet if you have what they call a "home hub". This includes Apple TV, homepod, properly set iPad, and (I think) some internet routers.
Here is Apple's support article about it:

Any more questions on this? If not lets close it out, thanks!
Thank you! You answered me :)
