Steps to reproduce

Doing a nixos-rebuild switch with a lot of network traffic was enough to trigger this.

Work around

Updating /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf and adding this to the file did solve the problem.

I have run into a similar (the same?) issue after updating nixos-unstable to 239fffc90d7 yesterday. Both of my laptops have lost wifi. I am not using NetworkManager; this issue occurs straight after booting the machine:

@coretemp, does this problem still exist with recent versions of the Linux kernel and the iwlwifi firmware?

I am wondering because the crashes I saw have been fixed recently and no longer occur.
