Hi, looking for any tutorial about making apps for FireTV and AppleTV, I found this article: https://www.nativescript.org/blog/running-the-nativescript-runtime-for-ios-on-apple-tv but the link showing how to change the config script in order to use the Apple TV simulator is not working: https://github.com/NativeScript/ios-runtime/blob/v.1.3.0/CMakeLists.txt#L4-L5
I know it was just an experiment, but will be nice to have a little support in Nativescript for those popular streaming devices or at least a guide to starting a project.

+1 for Chromecast support
It would be HUGE if there was an official "Telerik Plugin" that provides a lightweight wrapper around the Google Cast API. It's my understanding that the newest release brings much closer parity between the native Android and iOS implementations. Of course, a tiny demo app would be the cherry on top :)
Just to update the thread. Here's a working Cast plugin:

It would be great to see more first class support for these platforms.
Currently evaluating NativeScript and React Native. Preferring NativeScript so far, but it's possible I'll need to build TV apps too. And without first class support it feels like a risk to adopting NativeScript.
The articles make it appear quite straight forward to "make" it work, so it would seem a low effort, high reward thing to provide first class support for these platforms.
Fire TV would be amazing too ;)
