Monica: Manage Companies besides Persons

I think it would be great, if it were possible to manage companies besides persons. Currently you can add information about the working place of a person. I haven't found a feature to search for companies and add information about them.
With this extension monica would also be great for customer acquisition.

@Schrigga what else do you need? Also, this would make Monica more of a pro CRM rather than a personal one. Why would you use Monica in a pro context, except the fact that it's open source and free?

In my opinion the user interface is very intuitive and it's quite easy to use. I had a look at other CRMs and they didn't convinced me. Mostly they are too complex. I am a fan of easy and intuitive software ;)
Currently I don't miss other features so far.

Currently I'm not using all modules. I use the following:

• notes
• tracing of phone calls
• tracing of conversations
• reminders

I think a companies feature makes sense. It could be more general, i.e., organizations, so people could use it to organize communities and clubs, etc.. Essentially an organization could be like a tag in that it can be assigned to one or more contacts, but unlike tags, organizations could have notes and calls attached to them.

Hi. I just wanted to add here. Organizations can also be useful for a personal CRM to track communications with vendors you may use at home! This is a something I would love to do.
