Same issue here but regardless of my "gas fee" I always get the following message:
"It seems this transaction will fail. If you submit it, it may consume all the gas you provide."
Looking to send my ETH to different exchanges and there is no way I can move it.
This was supposed to be easy right?
I guess we are all waiting for this: https://github.com/ethereum/mist/pull/3265
I was able to solve this issue .. per a recommendation in another thread, I used https://www.myetherwallet.com/ to access my local wallet, from there I was able to transfer the ETH to my destination wallet (it did take 2 hrs to clear but finally made it).
Per my local mist wallet, it started to work normally late Sunday evening. I did not change anything on my end .. I'm now thinking this past weekend with all the craziness w/ BTC and BTH the network might have had issues. Chalking it up to WTF !!
follow this for the solution: @bliekp
Unable to make transactions #3264
@loggerhead51 using MEW is not a "solution" it is a workaround... It will never fix my local wallet...
@chanukya246 also your solution is not a real solution to the bug. My wallet contract is still not created. I know I can use MEW to transfer funds, but that's not the issue here.
I can not crete otgoing transaction from my wallet becaus of a problem with GAS. Incoming transactions go well.

Is there any workaround or fix of the problem? I suppose this is a critical issue, becuse funds actually stay inaccesible.

Has this been resolved? June 2018 here and I cannot send a transaction from 1 account to another...
