I also force time synced my computer with the command line prior to this ticket.

os-timesync Library produces bad result. I think you need to remove this library in the case of MacOS

@jimmykl if you look at the source code: timesync.checkEnabled is called and it will always raise this error because the library does not read MacOS setting correctly.

The library used (fjl/os-timesync) only checks for the presence of ntpd in the process list. As of High Sierra, OSX now uses timed instead of ntpd so this library will need to be updated to check for the timed process.

I've confirmed that 0.9.2 on High Sierra fixed this issue for me.

I get this every time I launch mist, it even tells me to run sudo apt-get install ntpd and sync clock, I have arch linux so apt-get won't work and my OS runs systemd-timesyncd every boot, so it's synchronized.
Really annoying.
