Are you talking about the terminal's default background color?

If you create a new color scheme but omit color-link default "[fg color],[bg color]", the background color should match the terminal.

Had same request and just noticed that color scheme "simple" match my transparent terminal background.

What about marking this as solved ? And maybe add something in the help files ?
