Lottie-web: Weird crop under mask

Created on 10 Apr 2017  路  3Comments  路  Source: airbnb/lottie-web

Hello,
I am no expert in AE nor Bodymovin, but I am experiencing strange issue.
I have vectors imported from AI, one set used as background, another as a mask. In between, there is a circular trim path rotating, but when exported 1) trim path get weird scale and follows rectangular path, 2) vectors aint crisp.

Please find all files attached.
export issues.zip

Any insights on this?
Thank you for any suggestions!

Hi
First of all, you need to convert your AI layers to shapes. This is a two step process:
Right click on them and select Create Shape from Vector Layer.
Then erase the merge paths and Path 2 of each group.
Finally, because of browser limitations, you need to add a rectangle with a transparent fill in the layer "Shape Layer 1" that covers the whole ellipse stroke, because browsers don't measure correctly strokes for masks.

Let me know if you need an example file.
