Lmms: Time dosen't recalculate after tempo change

Created on 10 Feb 2018  路  10Comments  路  Source: LMMS/lmms

When changing the tempo during play, the time meter directly below the tempo display will not recalculate. Moving the play head will cause it to recalculate.

Reproduce

  1. Make a long track.
  2. Set tempo to a high value, i.e. 300.
  3. play the track and put the play head to the clock reads about 2 mins.
  4. Without pausing the song, drop the tempo to 10.
  5. The clock will stay at 2 mins
  6. Move the play head.
  7. The time recalculates to about 40 mins!

lemma see if it does the same on Mac

@GingkathFox It does the same everywhere. This is not an OS-specific issue.

oh kk

Also, the Bar/Beat/Tick display does change when the tempo is changed, when it should not.

I feel like someone put some code in the wrong place...

That was fixed in #3711, but the fix applies to master only.

Should I sync the code to Stable-1.2?

I think you shouldn't, because #3711 is in 1.3.0 milestone.

If someone can point me to where the code for moving the playhead is, I can probably make a fix.
