Live-share: No support yet for find in files, replace in files, and related multi-file search features not backed by a language service/server
Find in files and related functions have not yet been implemented. Unfortunately, while this is a "feature level" amount of work the result of it feels like a bug when you try to use the base feature set.

+1'd this. I tried searching for files, and it is not working for my. only finds files that have already been opened.

@johnpapa Agreed! This is a critical scenario, and we've just been waiting for the necessary platform support in VS/VS Code to enable it. We're working on it right now!

The latest version of Live Share adds support for full-text search (both VS and VS Code), as well as "Go to All" for Visual Studio. We had previously added support for "Go to File" for VS Code, so I'm going to close this issue as resolved, and we can track any additional bugs/enhancements to project navigation via separate issues. Thanks everyone for all the great feedback here!
