Any progress on this? I also have the same issue with creating a hello-world-nginx container, not a good start for an aspiring docker-dev.

When using the toolkit, it works fine

It is because of Windows Defender. Turn it off or add the Kitematic folder as exclusion in the Defender.

I added the Kitematic folder as an exclusion in the Defender. same
I don't know how to turn it off. Do I want to?

Turn it off to just to try it if that is the issue. Virus and threat protection off.

This problem has been solved by kitematic v0.17.7

Hi chenwei. I just got this issue using Kitematic v1.8.8. It is the one I installed by right clicking the system tray icon for Docker Desktop for Windows & following the instructions.

Here is a powershell listing of what got installed.
