Successful login to Kitematic
Denied login due to "unable to get local issuer certificate" error
Fresh install of Docker for Windows(18.06.1-ce) on Windows 10
Fresh install of Kitematic(0.17.2.0)
Docker works just fine from the command line. I am able to pull images, build images, run containers. But Kitematic is unable to login. I have done the same workflow on my laptop computer and it experiences the same issues when it is on the work network(where the desktop resides), but not when I take it home.
I have tried several of the fixes that are posted elsewhere, and none have worked, they are all based around having a proxy server that your company has configured, but my company has no proxy configured, only a firewall(ZScaler) with a Certificate Authority Certificate.
Docker for Windows works fine on my computer with no proxy and no configuration of certificates.
Docker Toolbox works fine after specifying my ZScaler Certificate Authority Certificate in the VirtualBox VM.
Kitematic does not work with either of these as underlying softwares.
I'm also observing the same problem when working behind a Zscaler firewall that uses a company-specific root certificate to monitor HTTPS traffic.
I discovered that Docker Toolbox has a way to configure my company specific root certificate into the VM, but I know of no way to do this for Kitematic.
same problem here because our company is using ZScaler. Docker CLI works fine but Kitematic fails due to "unable to get local issuer certificate". Is there any progress to that issue?
