Kitematic: Feature proposal: Remove jQuery dependency

I noticed that there are about 6/27 (~20%) React components that depend on jQuery. I was wondering what y'all thought about refactoring and removing that dependency since jQuery adds a lot of unnecessary weight and it could potentially make it more difficult to debug since both jQuery and React are triggering view updates.

I've been thinking about it for a while now - A lot of packages are old and should be updated.
If you're up to the challenge I'd enjoy seeing this cleaned up! :D 馃憤
