When you have an icon pack enabled (Dives in my case) some icons won't be included. An option to either enable the circle around these icons (like it is now) or to just show the original icon would be helpful.

In this case some apps could be square and others with a circle, but it would still look nicer than with a white circle.
Hello!
That's actually an android feature, not something related to icons pack: by default, launchers now use adaptive icons: https://developer.android.com/guide/practices/ui_guidelines/icon_design_adaptive.
I think what is meant here is the icon masking some icon packs provide. Not the adaptive icons. Since masked icons seldom look better than unthemed icons I would support the option to switch off icon masking.
I would suggest the other way ... and ask to make the icons editable so even if the app is missing in the iconpack i can replace it by another icon
I agree. It would be helpful to be able to edit icons manually. Other launchers allow for this editing of individual icons.
Let's use #1313 then :) I understand it's not exactly the same but it seems to be a decent alternative.
