Kiss: Auto-hide search bar

I want to see the whole background unobstructed by the launcher.
🔸 What I do now is make the search bar transparent, but this makes some pictures not suitable as background because the text does not change color.
🔸 I have a lwp that changes pictures and I don't have control over the colour of the bottom part of the picture.

The only solution that comes to mind is to hide the search bar the same way that the navigation bar is hiding.

Yeah #737, would be nice to extract the wallpaper colour and adapt text colour but sounds complicated.

@licaon-kter even if it would be possible if the bottom color changes from left to right it would be hard to find a good text colour.
🔸 one other idea would be to add some kind of outer edge color to the text or a shadow see: Text stroke outline

Picking color automatically might require the palette support library, which is 2mb in size :(
However, we already have a color picker, so we might as well add a "Font color" to be used for search and results?

Adding some kind of shadow might also be a good idea on a transparent search bar.

Hi guys. Was going through the play store comments, and I absolutely second Benedict Lee's feature request. Although my search bar is transparent, I'd like to totally hide the "O" and the "three dots"... Right now, I have to carefully choose my wallpapers so as to camouflage the "O" and the "3 dots". An option to totally hide these would be amazing. That way I can set any wallpaper I want.
