Kibana: filter for value "+/-" symbols on dashboards do not add filters to current query

Describe the bug:
Manually adding a filter to the dashboard works using the "add filter" button.
Clicking on the visualization in the dashboard or on the (+/-) symbol does not add a filter to the query.

Steps to reproduce:
1.build dashboard
2.Try to filter by (+/-) symbols next to selected item.
3.??

Expected behavior:
Nothing happens for filtering. Ability to filter on some pieces of the dashboards by clicking certain items. Some work, some don't.

We have the same problem. Filtering with (+/-) or clicking in the visualizaions is not working; manually by "+Add filter" works.

The problem seems to occur just for dashboards that are using index patterns without Time Filter field name

I think this may be duplicated by #54548 and addressed in #54757, which was merged for 7.5.2

Request clarification of fixed version: is this going to be fixed in 7.7 or has this already been fixed in 7.5.2 per https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/54548 /https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/54757 above?

54757 resolved the issue described in #54548 which @lizozom closed already, and I think that's a duplicate of this issue. That particular PR was only merged for 7.5.2 because the issue was not present in 7.6.

So basically: this should be fixed starting in 7.5.2.

@bhavyarm are you able to confirm that when you tested against 7.6 in #54548 you weren't seeing this particular issue described here either? (Just want to be absolutely certain it is a duplicate before closing)

I can confirm that filtering is working again in 7.5.2.
