Kibana: No 'currency' option for number field format in 4.1.1

It was my understanding that after #1543 (merged in 4.1.0) that currency would be an option for field formatting.
I'm using Kibana 4.1.1, but there is no "currency" option for my number type fields:

I did notice that the format::currency::default is defined under Advanced settings:

I just can't figure out how to make a field use the currency format. Am I missing something obvious?

Any news about that?

The advanced settings for format::currency::default is still there, but there's no way to set currency format for number type..

Simply select number and enter a custom format:

@rashidkpc I was expecting all currency formats would reference a default currency pattern, instead of entering a custom pattern for each one.

If I have to enter a custom format for every currency field, then why does the format::currency::default definition even exist?

What if I want to change the currency format for my hundreds of currency fields -- do I have to edit every one manually?
