Kap: Can't drag video trim handlers easily

Steps to reproduce

Once recorded, I want to trim video and try to grab the left trim handler with my mouse to drag but won't follow, unless I move super slow to ensure the drag handler sticks to my cursor

Current Behaviour

Drag handlers are not draggable

Expected Behaviour

Once you click a drag handler you expect to be able to move it fast enough

Workaround

Drag and hover. move incredibly slow so the mouse never hovers out the handler...

We were not able to reproduce this on Catalina (10.15.1).

I think I understand the issue, I agree that it doesn't feel quite right. We could benefit from making the UI slightly larger to gain some more surface area to interact with, since there's no room to simply increase the target areas.

It's not the size of it. There is a UI bug IMO. At least for me. Look at the capture below. The handler should follow no matter what. It doesn't unless I keep the mouse to it moving super slowly. Also once I start dragging, even if I release the mouse the handler keeps following just by hover....

Really strange, we can not reproduce that exact behaviour, but improving the trimmer is on our radar.
