I just downloaded the new version for 1.13.2 and when I click on the wrench, nothing happens. I also can't get a full stack of items when enabling cheat mode. any help?

Same here, but if you want Cheat mode hold down CTRL and Left click the Wrench icon. 👍

The config GUIs have not been implemented in Forge yet, so I've just disabled it for now.
I'll leave this issue open though, so people can see the reason.

Is there any update? i recently used the new forge and JEI version and still can't access configuration.

The only thing that works is cheat mode but only by pressing Ctrl and the config icon.

Seeing as it has been 6 months now, it would be nice if we could just manually write a config instead, but from what I can see there is no documentation regarding configuration. Could this be changed? @mezz

I still need to work on this. It hasn't been a very high priority yet because 1.14 is still just getting started. I am still mostly focused on working with mods on their integration with the new JEI API in 1.14, to make sure it has everything needed for mods so that it can be stabilized.

Also, a recent windows update made my taskbar conflict with reaching button in borderless windowed mode (despite the fact it doesnt work atm, I had to disable IT before finding out the wrench doesn't work still) so that's nice.

I've been on 1.14 for months with JEI. As an op, it would be nice to have this one slipped in somewhere between the mod compat work.

Exactly. It would be nice if we were able to just write down the items on to a blacklist of some sort, no GUI is really needed for it. And it would make the modpacks way cleaner.

Looks like this is the PR that is blocking this issue. It doesn't look like this will ever be implemented into 1.14 so you're out of luck there.

Still having this same problem. Can we get a keyboard combination to open the gui menu, or a menu in the actual game options menu? Some kind of workaround. Or like justjoshin said, at least an editable config text file?

Hello! I'm glad to have found this, as I recently started working on a pack for 1.15.2 and thought I was doing something wrong! I am not dying for an ingame config, I am perfectly happy to use a text-based file, if that's easier. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I am sure you're super busy, especially considering how much is on your plate right now, but I thought I would leave you a bit of encouragement to level out the negativity. I (and many others) appreciate the years of hard work that you've put into making the MC modding scene accessible - viable, really! You're the best, and I hope you're doing well irl. The ingame config was realized using FTB GUI Library (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/ftb-gui-library)
It is an optional dependency (when you dont have it loaded, the config gui wont display).

The configs get stored in a standard forge toml file.
