Hello human, I'm @whedon. I'm here to help you with some common editorial tasks.

For a list of things I can do to help you, just type:

@whedon commands
Attempting PDF compilation. Reticulating splines etc...

PDF failed to compile for issue #733 with the following error:

Can't find any papers to compile :-(

Hello!

I added a paper.md and paper.bib file to the repo. Could you try again?

Thanks @zfrenchee. I don't see the paper.md and paper.bib in the repo. Could you check to make sure they got in to https://github.com/zfrenchee/NN-SVG? Those will also help the editors understand more about the scope and purpose of the tool.

Hi Tracy,

Sorry, I'm a moron, and forgot to push. Check again?

I've mostly been modeling this off another repo called BioPandas
https://github.com/rasbt/biopandas (which is where I heard about JOSS),
so I'm modeling my submission off that repo. I'm new to JOSS, so let me
know if there are other boxes I should be checking!

Thanks,

@whedon list reviewers

Here's the current list of reviewers: https://bit.ly/joss-reviewers

Hi @zfrenchee - thanks for adding the paper. I had a quick review and it's a little light on detail, statement of need, links to existing research outputs using the tool etc. Could you take another look at the recommended paper structure (http://joss.theoj.org/about#paper_structure) and make some additions.

In addition, could you please take a look at the list of volunteer reviewers above and suggest some potential reviewers.

Hello Arfon,

I've added a statement of need at the top, and just a little extra detail
in the middle.

I submitted this project because someone asked to cite it and I didn't have
something to point them towards, so I suspect there will be research output
using this project in the future, but there is none as of yet. I anticipate
using it for my own purposes in the future as well.

Some potential reviewers:
terrytangyuan
desilinguist
nilesh-patil
rasbt
mlgill
sssomani
kellieotto
